This facility was top notch and I wouldn't be surprised if it was deemed one of the top ones in the country. I did an Inpatient program and also an Intensive Out Patience one at Cottonwood Springs. While I came in a very dark, sad place I left with hope for my future. The treatment plans between both programs were not only comprehensive but easy to understand. They presented therapy techniques in way that was constructive and not overwhelming. From the moment I arrived at nearly midnight to the time I left today being discharged from my IOP program I was able to put together the building blocks so I can manage my condition and have an excellent quality of life. Elements that stood out to me were the friendliness and willingness to help by the staff at all times. The entire staff was invested in each patient which meant so much to see that in action. Even the lunch room folks were pleasant. The food was phenomenal which really exceeded my expectations. The amenities made the experience for me like one at home the entire time including plenty of time to watch television, do puzzles, play games, and just sit outside. The music therapy, exercise therapy, processing, and check-ins all served to help me in taking charge of my self-care. I am almost in tears when I think about my overall time there and am so grateful for the opportunity to get better. Cottonwood Springs was instrumental in me getting onto the right path for a better life.
This place helped me so much. I loved the staff and especially Dr. Willey. I am very thankful for all their help.
Cottonwood Springs. A place that changed my life! The staff is awesome and the treatment program is ideal for anyone who wants a solid foundation for recovery. As a duel diagnosis patient I was able to address every aspect of my condition. I found the group therapy to be extremely beneficial and the patient population has maintained a cohesion of purpose that I have never witnessed before. The mealtimes are special and the food well prepared and a certain comradery forms. I came from an environment of great sadness and despair and within a few days I was laughing and happy to be here and asking to stay as long as possible to develop a strong foundation. After inpatient, an outpatient program allows a patient to apply the tools given in their lives and a place to review their progress Family is also included and the program allows family to take part in the healing process both for themselves and the patient! This is not a bad person, but a sick person trying to get well! An alumni program is also available and meets monthly. The psychiatric staff is exceptional and the medical treatment is safe and molded to the patients needs. Overall, I give Cottonwood 5 stars and highly recommend this facility to anyone who wants a life changing experience that sets a path to recovery and enlightenment.
We were told about Cottonwood Springs by the Suicide Hotline. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay at this facility. The staff was absolutely Amazing towards everyone. I would recommend coming here for whatever it is that you feel you need help for or if you have a loved one that needs help!
Cottonwood Springs has given me so many tools to use in my future. Real tools. Things that will help me live the rest of my life in a positive manner. Everyone from the therapist, nurses etc. were amazing! I appreciate this place more than words could ever indicate.
