Rick and I love the day play for our English bulldog, Savannah. She is always very excited to get inside and play with the toys and other dogs. I know she is well taken care of while we both work. We use Bubbles and Biscuits for some of her grooming. We trust Dr. Peterson with her check ups, shots and any health issues. I appreciate everything they do to keep my dog healthy and happy!
It’s so close, walking distance from my house, that I’ve tried over and over to use this place for vetinary care, boarding and grooming. Having gone here a couple dozen times (including today) I can say it’s just not worth it. The facility is nice and the location is great, but the staff is so inept it’s just too painful to watch any longer. Example from today: I went to pick up 2 of our dogs from boarding while we were out of town for the holiday. Their records showed all 3 of my dogs were there, which I explained was not the case. Then the “new” lady tried to fix my bill and after a lot of time passed, told me my total. Having been here before and knowing the bill is wrong about 50% of the time, I asked for a print out to review the charges. Upon review, I pointed out the additional errors on the bill. She then spent about 10 minutes trying to fix it, with no success. She asked me if I would mind waiting even longer for the “experienced” lady to get there, who was about 15 minutes late to work at this point. I said that I do mind and asked if they would just call me. She agreed and I asked for their leashes (they were not brought up with the dogs). They spent another 10 min or so trying to find the leashes, bringing me up leashes that were not mine. Then the lady who arrived late to work told me they don’t take leashes and they don’t have them. I advised they did take the leashes and then the customer in line behind me confirmed they took her leash as well. They gave up trying to find them and said they would call me next week. So a good 25 minutes just to pick my dogs up, incorrect bill, missing leashes and I didn’t even ask about their food. I’ll save that for the awesome phone call next week. This is just one of many, many examples of the type of experience you can expect here. The best part is, despite their complete inability to accomplish the simplest of transactions, you will get no apology, no empathy, no attempt to make it right. Just 10 times the work on your part to get it all corrected while they make up lies hoping you’ll fall for it, which is laughable since you probably know how many dogs you left for boarding and whether or not you’re holding leashes in your hand. This would be a 5 minute process at Camp Bow Wow.
The staff here is amazing! They always take such great care of our dog. Dr. Peterson takes his time answering questions and listening to us. You can tell that he loves what he does and truly cares for every animal that comes in. We love that all of our pet needs are available here: boarding, food, grooming, and vet care! Our dog loves the doggy daycare and always comes home a happy pup! I couldn't recommend this animal hospital more!
We started going here back in March when we got a new puppy. I really love this place. We used to go to another vet in town and I felt it was unorganized and was always stressful going there. I feel like Cedar Creek is calm and relaxing which is great for your pets as well. They are always friendly and are willing to take the time to answer any questions you may have. Whenever the Dr comes in our puppy does not even seem to get nervous around him and he is very good at explaining everything to you and is not in a big rush. So glad we found this place.
The staff here are wonderful. Dr. Peterson is engaging with the animal parents and informative. I love that the building is a one stop shop as they have the groomers down on the end and even boarding with a play area outside. Fake grass and all!
