If you enjoy good down home cooking with a small town atmosphere this is this place for you!! The service is great and the food has not ever disappointed. I'm a regular customer...it's my go to place for a great breakfast!
My most recent visit, I had a friend from florida in town for a short time. He wanted to go to breakfast. I suggested 56 and he said that is what the guys he works with suggested.

I have not only eaten there but when I first came to kansas I worked there. Wonderful, friendly people and staff. The best sweet potato fries ever!!! Good home cooking! It is a great place for locals as well as visitors.

The food was great but our service was even better. Our server Alexa did a great job with greeting us and allowing us to pick a seat. She always had a smile on her face and was good about food serving time. The best thing was that she always came to check in with us when we were done chewing. Great family environment and budget friendly place.
