However, today we have soccer fields that are uniform, grass cut short or turf, and top price for premier play. Yet, even with all the money we dump into the league and tournaments, we are slapped in the face with a giant middle finger the league scheduling games at this God-Forsaken dump.

UPDATE Summer 2016. Many fields are in horrible condition. If not for over growth of clovers would be completely dirt.

Worst soccer fields around. It's like playing on a goat patch. With all the money spent on soccer dues you would expect better field conditions.

This brings back memories of living in the backwoods countryside where the only soccer fields were dirt fields with a bit of unkempt grass mixed in, and of course with holes and bumps everywhere. Where ankles are sprained and the ball moves in the fashion of a toddler chasing a laser dot.

I wish I could say these fields actually help train our kids for grass play, but that is so not true. Many a times the grass has not been cut, so the ball dies almost instantly off dribbles and passes. The uneven field causes highly unrealistic movements with the ball where it's far too easy for something as simple as a light tap on the ball 1 foot in front of the goal can knock the ball clear over the crossbar.

It's definitely improved in the past year, still needs some work though

In short, F this F'ing field and the commity that forces league teams to play here. I've heard rumors that these fields will be shut down, all I can say is "good riddance"and hurry up. We have PLENTY of far better fields to play at here in Olathe/Overland Park.

Worst fields I've ever played on... actually surprised no one has sued these people for such bad fields. The place is a disgrace to soccer.

Overall it serves it's purpose - lots of soccer fields. No major issues but plenty of room for improvement - parking could be better, fields get torn up pretty quickly, especially around the goal line and the sidelines are essentially gone on half of each side of the field with AR tracks.
