Selection was great, customer service was to be desired. I was in line 30 minuets, one checker with several other staff members roaming around. Very frustrating.
This was my first visit to Ross, I was looking for a dress for a wedding reception and I didn't know what to expect, they had a good variety of dresses to chose from, I found 2 dresses that I liked. They had my size and they both look good me, I will definitely go back to Ross.
Store Manager Michelle Wise was very rude to me on November 14, 2017. I purchased a relatively large mirror and as she was ringing up my items, she ordered me to turn the mirror around so that she could scan it. I tried doing so, however, I had a pretty extensive surgery due to thyroid cancer and my neck started hurting and I couldn't turn the mirror. I then told her that my neck was hurting and she became very irritated that I couldn't assist her. I asked her why she was being so rude and she just ignorned me as if I wasn't human. I'm very disappointed that a store manager could treat a customer the way she treated me. I go to that location pretty regular, I think they discrimate against African Americans.
Wow, rude employees right when we walked in. Just came from Dallas,Tx and we're looking to buy and as we walked in we heard nothing. No greeting even though it's pretty slow. Then we wanted to see some jewelry and once we finally get the attention from one employee she states that we have to get in line first then she'll show us the merchandise... with an annoyed face (thanks for nothing). This location doesn't have anything worth buying and still they get on their high horses. Great first impression of Kansas... see you never again.
Reviewed other Ross... same feelings about both. They are hit and miss stores, with random items. Like a garage sale but all new items. I bought a purse there recently and I love it. May go back a couple more times and find absolutely nothing of interest. No rhyme or reason... that should be their slogan. But the occasional fun find gets me to return occasionally.
