Usually have a BOGO SALE. New styles of shoes. Different varieties. Clearance isn't typically very good deal though.
This place was trashed beyond belief, it was only the manager working Saturday and my god there was shoes everywhere. Nice manager told us about a 15% coupon.
I had been trying to get a particular type and brand of shoe at one of their competitors. Although I was being picky, I had three different models and the other store couldn't seem to get my size in stock within a week of any of the three styles. So that's when I decided to look around and check out Famous Footwear.
I was extremely impressed with how easy they made it to find exactly what I needed within a matter of minutes. An associate greeted me promptly and directed me to what I had in mind. There were multiple styles in that brand that fit my criteria, nicely organized and easy to locate. (Unlike the competitor I had visited twice already). I even saw other shoes that I fell in love with... and I am not the type of person to shop and waste time. I know what I want. I want to get in and out, and get the product at a resonable price. Thank you Famous Footwear for making my new shoe purchase a very pleasant experience.
This used to be my go-to stop for my whole families shoes, but unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location. One of their employees, Soulidad, found it appropriate to ask my daughter and I if we were "almost finished" because "they closed 15mins ago". Not only is this incredibly rude and poor customer service on many levels, but I was aware they were almost closed when I walked in, apologized to the employees and assured them we would be hurrying. Which we did. According to my watch we were in and out in 14 mins and anyone who has every shopped for a 9-year-old girls tennis shoes before knows that's pretty amazing. To top it off, the employee was defensive, rude, and blamed upper management for her behavior when I was told her I was quite offended by her actions. There was no sincere apology or any attempt to make it right. This is not how you treat costumers. I will absolutely not be coming back to this location, despite the convenience. It's just not worth it. Truly disappointing.
