Such a COZY respite. An icy Nov. wind was blasting me out in the Courthouse Square and I slipped in here to warm up. Quickly realized how hungry I was from the wafting aroma's. Owner's Harleigh Ellsworth (front-woman) and Sean Ellsworth (muscle), were so stimulating to chat with. They are on the frontline of the emerging rebirth of downtown Olathe. They educated me on the AMAZING transformations planned for the Courthouse Square. Such a dynamic, adorable couple and Sean whipped up an UNGODLY, delicious hot sandwich for me. So much to ENDORSE about this local-owned cafe.
Great coffee and espresso. I’m glad I found this place convenient to my new home. Can’t wait to try the pastries.
Easily my favorite place to go to get coffee. The staff makes everyone feel like family in such an inviting warm environment. I recommend it to everyone not only because of the great coffee, service, and food but because it gives you all the comforts of enjoying a cup of coffee with family at home even when you are not.
The owners/staff are wonderful bundles of positive energy and the food is amazing. It's just an added bonus that they use organic and local ingredients whenever possible. I love everything about this place; definitely my new go to lunch spot. Anytime I'm in the area, life is not complete unless I stop here.
Moved to Olathe from Denver a few months ago and I have found a few quality coffee shops... this one however screams 'Coffee Shop'! This is the quintessential place for coffee. Tucked into a nice corner of a great downtown area it feels the part once you walk through the front door. Absolutely fantastic coffee and (as expected of a good coffee shop at lunchtime) a limited, but over the top delicious sandwich menu!! These folks exude the Kansas friendliness I was told to expect here! I think this will be a weekly pilgrimage for me... Any shop that has Rick Steves playing on the TV in the background is all right by me!
